NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - 'Skid Row' legend Sebastian Bach says he learned early on not to mess with Italians.
"It was at the very end of the New Jersey tour. I'm walking to the stage about to start the show and three roadies (for Jon Bon Jovi) grab me, take me and douse my head with a vat of freezing ice water as the first song goes on. I had my roadies get a 12 pack of eggs to retaliate," said Bach.
While Bach initially felt satisfied that he had exacted revenge, the prank didn't go over well with Jon Bon Jovi, especially his family.
"If you insult one Italian, the whole family comes out. Here comes dad. Here comes the uncle. Here comes the brother. Live and learn. That's all I'll say," said Bach.
The incident is one of many memories of his time on the road that Bach shares in his new book, '18 And Life On Skid Row.'
"The book is a period piece. This book is about a different time," said Bach.
The heavy metal legend will be signing copies of his memoir at the Barnes & Noble in Monmouth Mall.
