NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Dancer and singer Teyana Taylor is enjoying a burst of popularity after starring in the new video for rapper Kanye West's song, 'Fade.' Taylor, 25, who is the mother of a one-year-old girl with husband and NBA star Iman Shumpert, looks incredibly fit as she dances alone in a gym.
While Taylor and West are sharing in the success of the music video, West appears to be far from returning to a recording studio anytime soon.
Good Day New York asked Taylor how West, who was recently released from a hospital in Los Angeles following a reported 'psychotic episode,' was doing.
"I don't know too many details about what's going on," said Taylor. "I think that right now that everyone is giving him his space. I reached out. Of course everyone is worried. I checked in on him. Sent him my blessings. Sent him my love. That's really it. Give him his space. It's not really for a response. As long as he knows that we're all here in his corner, that's all that really matters."
West was reportedly receiving treatment for sleep deprivation and exhaustion.
"Sometimes the best thing (is) you got to call, email and do the text. Just so you know what, your family is here for you," said Taylor.
