NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Selena Gomez, Rihanna and Kendrik Lamar will be among the performers while Salma Hayek-Pinault, Hugh Jackman and Chelsea Handler are among the hosts. The event? The fifth annual Global Citizen Festival taking place on Sept. 24 in Central Park.
This year, the wildly popular music festival is calling on all attendees to take social action in order to receive an admission ticket.
"We want people to use their voice, not their money. We want everyone to be able to access this concert. We want people to see their favorite stars," said Madge Thomas of Global Citizen.
50,000 tickets will be given away. You need 26 "actions" to get in.
"It's through doing something that you can capture it and share it on social media. For example, one of the actions this year is take a photo of a book that has changed your life and tell world leaders why kids everywhere should read it," said Thomas.
That action will get you five points.
"Last year, the prime minister of Norway came to the festival because global citizens clogged her Twitter account. She sent us feedback and said, stop Tweeting me, I'm going to come, I hear you, and she doubled her commitment to Global Citizen," said Thomas.
