NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Movie and TV director M. Night Shyamalan, the man behind hit horror films like 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Lady in the Water,' says there could be more in store for fans of FOX's 'Wayward Pines.' “I did the TV show and I did ‘The Visit’ the same year," said Shyamalan. "The show became the number one scripted show of the summer. It was a giant hit and everyone started asking are you going to do a second season," said Shyamalan.
Season one told the story of a Secret Service agent who returns to the town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, in search of two missing federal agents.
"I’ve been talking with the author. I need to know the end. I’m working with the writers. If I can think of an end and work backwards then I’ll do it. In TV I need to know there is an end point,” said Shyamalan.
'Wayward Pines' stars Matt Dillon and Carla Gugino. Fans can watch full episodes HERE.
