Nick Cannon is helping pair disabled people with dogs

Nick Cannon is now spokesperson for Canine Companions.

- Along with being a TV host, singer and actor, Nick Cannon is also a philanthropist. In his latest charitable endeavor, Cannon has taken on the role of spokesperson for Canine Companions for Independence.

The non-profit provides highly-trained assistance dogs to disabled people, free of charge.

"You can truly have a companion in a time of need," said Cannon.

The host of 'America's Got Talent' and 'Wild N Out' is lending his voice to a series of documentaries called 'Hero Tails' to benefit Canine Companions.

NexGard will donate $1 up to a total of $175,000, to the organization for every view of the 'dog-umentaries.'
