NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Taking a cue from presidential candidate Donald Trump's rallying cry, Greg Kelly wants to 'Make Mike Woods Great Again.'
Mike tore a tendon in his right tricep over the Thanksgiving weekend. He's now nearly 100 percent healed, but Greg thought he'd "help" him in the final stages of his recovery.
"They went in and attached it again," said Mike.
Following surgery, Mike was given a "bionic" arm that allowed him to have some range of motion while he healed.
"It looked pretty cool, but it didn't feel great. But it did the job," said Mike.
With regular visits to the orthopedic surgeon, physical therapist and personal trainer, Mike is doing much better and has nearly full range of motion restored to his elbow.
Leave it to Greg to have fun with Mike and "raise money" for the "hero."
"America, we're running a telethon to make 'Mike Great Again.' So far we've raised $7.20,"said Greg. "At 3:30 this afternoon, let's join hands together."
