Tyrese Gibson gets personal in last album and catches lyrics typo

"I went through some stuff. Three of the most personal things imaginable happened to me while trying to focus on recording," said musician and actor Tyrese Gibson.

The four-time Grammy nominee lays it all out in his new (and last) album, 'Black Rose.'

"I was in a relationship for five years and she was my live in girlfriend. That ended and I was in and out of court for two and a half years for joint custody. And then I lost my brother Paul Walker," said Gibson.

The second single off 'Black Rose,' titled 'Shame,' has been turned into a short film directed by Denzel Washington.

"I did some things that I am ashamed of to my girl. This album is not for people who cannot relate to challenges and issues. It's my best," said Gibson.

The hunky actor says'Black Rose' closes the book on his album recording days.

"The time and energy that went into recording this album, I just don't have it," said Gibson.

While he's still acting, Gibson also has a TV gig in the works.

"Me and Rev. (Run) definitely have a talk show on the OWN Network. We basically will be talking about life and love and relationships and spirituality. The uncomfortable stuff," said Gibson.
