The champagne corks haven't stopped flying since Leslie Odom Jr. stepped into the role of Aaron Burr in "Hamilton." He is one of seven actors nominated from the "Hamilton" cast, and one of 14 performers of color that received a Tony nomination this year.

A freshman to Broadway, Cynthia Erivo is up for best actress in a musical for "The Color Purple."

A revival of "She Loves Me" racked up 8 nominations including one for actress Laura Benanti.

But the team to beat this year is "Hamilton." Several cast members will compete against each other on June 12, like Leslie and "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who are both nominated for best actor.

Renee Elise Goldsberry of "Hamilton" has been waiting for this moment since her 2002 Broadway debut.
