Brooklyn artist's body designs in Beyonce's album

Nigerian-born artist Laolu doesn't limit his art to a canvas. His work is now woven into the fabric of Beyonce's powerful visual album "Lemonade."

Laolu's soulful tapestries transform shoes and clothing. But Beyonce hand-picked Laolu to adorn dancers in the songs "Sorry" and "Freedom."

Laolu began as a human rights lawyer in Nigeria, but discovered his true calling by returning to his Yoruba roots.

No two pieces are the same as Laolu draws inspiration from his subjects: their personality traits and energy. Transcribing the essence of each muse, Laolu soulfully merges the old world with ours.
