Coldplay announces U.S. stadium tour

- British rock band Coldplay has announced a U.S. stadium tour for the summer. The tour is in support of the band' newest album, "A Head Full of Dreams."

The tour kicks off in the New York area with a July show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and makes sox more stops. More dates are expected to be announced.

A special presale has already begun. General tickets will be available on Friday, February 5, at 10 a.m.

This is the itinerary so far:

Saturday, July 16: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, N.J.
Saturday, July 23: Soldier Field, Chicago.
Saturday, July 30: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass.
Saturday, August 6: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia.
Saturday, August 20: Rose Bowl, Pasadena, Calif.
Saturday, August 27: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
Saturday, September 3: Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, Calif.
