Henry Cavill, who played Superman in "Man of Steel" and this month's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," proved that Superman can go unrecognized -- even without glasses.

He posted a video to his social media accounts implying that he went into Times Square wearing a Superman T-shirt and didn't seem to get recognized -- even though he posed beneath huge billboards for the upcoming movie.

Cavill, 32, told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that one guy asked him for directions and another person told him he couldn't take photos in a particular location.

Dear Doubter, The glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman #WhoWillWin #Superman
