Duke Castiglione joined Fox 5 in June 2007 as sports anchor. He hosted "Sports Extra" on Sundays at 10:30 p.m.
Castiglione covered the New York Giants' remarkable run to and subsequent win of Super Bowl 42, including serving as host for Fox 5's post-game show live from the field after the game. He later anchored the Giants' New York City victory parade.
Previously, Castiglione had been a fill-in weekend sports anchor for Fox 5. Prior to this, he was a sports anchor and reporter with WHDH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Boston. He has also guest hosted several television and radio programs for ESPN, including "Sports Center" and "Around the Horn."
Throughout his career, Castiglione has landed a number of key breaking news interviews, including an exclusive undercover report with Kirk Radomski prior to the release of the Mitchell Report, and the first one-on-one with Johnny Damon when he joined the New York Yankees.
Previously, Castiglione spent three years as the morning sports anchor and reporter for New York's WCBS-TV. While there, he also did sideline reports for CBS Sports and ESPN baseball, including "Sunday Night Baseball" and the "World Baseball Classic." Castiglione was also the host of NY1's live call-in program, "Sports on 1." He is a recipient of the Associated Press award for "Best Sports Show"
